About Hitechbits

Hitechbits was launched September 15th 1999 and the purpose was to create a web site dedicated to the daily tech news consumer.  Being in the tech industry myself I found that it was difficult to find a news site that posted short and concise pieces of information that was shaping our tech industry.

If you are curious about me, I was born in South Africa (my family is German) and I moved to the US to pursue my educational career in Computer Science. My journey started off in New Jersey for a short period and then I moved to Denver Colorado to complete my schooling.

I live with my wonderful wife Kendall and we both now live south of Denver in Castle Rock Colorado USA. Also part of the family is Colby and Cheddar - our two cats.
